Kuch khud b thay afsurda se,
 
kuch tum b hum se rooth gae,
 
kuch khud hi zakhm k aadi thay,
 
kuch sheeshay hath se chhoot gae,
 
kuch khud b thay hassaas boht,
 
kuch apne muqadr rooth gae,
 
kuch usko sach se nafrat thi,
 
kuch hum se na bolay jhut gae,
 
kuch talkh haqaiq the itne,
 
k khwab hi sare toot gAe.
